Duwayne Burnside son of internationally celebrated Hill Country Blues legend R. L. Burnside., According to Dr. David Evans of University of Memphis and High Waters Records Duwayne Burnside is the greatest North Mississippi Blues musician alive today.
Ms SlideGuitar, Wendy Jean Garrison Oxford Ms. guitarist will show students and RL BOYCE a thing or two about North Mississippi slide guitar techniques.
Roderick “Keshun” Wooten ColdWater Ms. drummer for the Soul Children, is kin to the Turners.
Keshun will share classic fife and drum rhythms from the region.

Visit sites like LPs Ball field, Hunter Chapel Church, location where Fred McDowell’s trailer stood, pay homage to Como Blues royalty at the gravesites of Otha and Bernice Turner, Calvin Jackson, RL Burnside, Napoleon Strickland, Jessie Mae Hemphill, Rev. John Wilkins and more.
Guests caravan in their own vehicles.
